It is sad that during your reign alot of things are going bad. you may never read this but I hope that this letter will at least make an impact in the life of one person.
Contrary to what you might think, the protests against the removal of the fuel subsidy does not mean we are against you in particular. It only means we do not think you are listening to people who live in our world, we do not think you have a valid reason for doing this and we do not agree in your way of trying to make changes in nigeria. I am sorry to say but a better way would have been to reduce the subsidy little by little. the hike in the price of fuel has affected all of us and if you can see the bigger picture, you'll see that it only makes life harder for we Nigerians.
My adice to you as a citizen of the country you lead,is for you to: try to let us know why the removal of the fuel subsidy is important because good roads seem too feeble for such a drastic change. In addition. you can cosider letting the price of fuel increase gradually not double as it did. Furthermore, try to focus on improving just one sector of the economy. Do not get confused because of the Boko haram situation. While you try to do something about it focus on a sector that can improve. This will help you not fall into the trap of leaving many unfinished jobs.
I wish you the best.
Yours truly
Karen Okat
